Spiritual healing does not primarily have to do with the healing of the body. It has primarily to do with the healing of the whole person, mind, body and spirit— and the union of the whole man with God, who is the source of wholeness. The Christian religion is not a healing cult. What would be the good of a perfect body and mind apart from and without a spirit in union with God? The root of the illness is usually not the body. The Mayo Clinic has said that 75 percent of the people who come to them cannot be helped by the clinic because they are passing on to the body the ailments of mind and spirit.
