Auca Indians Describe Conversion to Christianity [Religious News Service]

A moving account of Christian conversion was detailed by two primitive Auca Indians who were delegates from Ecuador to the World Congress on Evangelism [in West Berlin], Many of the 1,200 churchmen here wept as the "once-savage" pair told how they put their faith in the God of the Bible.

One of them,...said to be about 28 years old, has previously admitted that he had a part in the slaying of five missionaries in the jungles of eastern Ecuador more than 11 years ago. The other... is approximately 25.
