Sovereign power! Power independent of and unlimited by any other power! Who does not long to wield such power? Races, nations, governments, and individuals strive for it; but power born of worldliness is here today and gone tomorrow. It is not freedom but slavery. The sovereign power which Christ Jesus describes as the kingdom of God within us is our God-derived capacity to reflect the sovereignty of good in thinking, speaking, acting.
