In Proverbs we read (4:13), "Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go keep her; for she is thy life" must lay claim to the possession of spiritual understanding at all times, knowing that God provides for us every good thing. His work is done; our work is to take cognizance of the Word of Truth.
When discordant mental suggestions try to crowd into our consciousness, we need to remember the injunction, "Let her not go." Mrs. Eddy tells us (The First Church of Christ, Scientist, and Miscellany, P.210), "It is plain that nothing can be added to the mind already full. Every minute of every day we need to fill our thought with Truth and use our spiritual understanding, which is the means of realizing contentment, happiness, and selflessness in human experience.
This was proved to me in a most beautiful and demonstrable way when sense testimony said I was in grave danger.
