Words of Current Interest
The words in this issue are related to the Lesson-Sermon in the CHRISTIAN SCIENCE QUARTERLY designated to be read in Christian Science churches on January 29, 1967.
With all thy mind (Mark 12:30)
Since these words are not directly represented in the Hebrew text of Deuteronomy 6:5, as we now have it, Jesus was clearly quoting from the Septuagint, or Greek Version of the Old Testament. An alternative translation of the Greek dianoia (mind) would be "understanding."
Discreetly (Mark 12:34)
