It is with a heart filled with gratitude and joy that I offer my testimony. Christian Science came to me when I was very much in need of healing. I suffered a nervous breakdown after the passing of two of our children, and all material means failed to help me.

A dear member of the family who was a Christian Scientist called to see me and provided me with a borrowed copy of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, and a copy of the Christian Science Quarterly. I soon found that Science was what I had been seeking.

I bought my first copy of Science and Health and shall always remember the joy that came with it. I had indeed found the pearl of great price. My healing wasn't instantaneous; there were many wrong thoughts to be overcome and reliance on materiality had to be given up. I prayed daily to be divinely guided and to learn how to listen for the still small voice of Truth, and eventually I was restored to health.
