Although I am a new student of Christian Science. I should like to express my profound gratitude for this wonderful religion. For many years I experienced chaos, fears, triads, and tribulations. Then one Sunday morning I attended a church service with a student of Christian Science and felt the great love being expressed. The soloist, organist. Readers, ushers, and all those attending radiated a peace which f had never before witnessed. This impression of love was so uplifting that the following day I purchased a copy of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy.

From reading this book only I was healed of an alcoholic problem of over twenty years. I was healed also of the smoking habit and of many other undesirable traits. With the help of practitioners I have experienced physical healings as well, such as those of an abscessed tooth, sore gums, burns, cuts, and a smashed finger.

One Wednesday morning when at work I became dizzy and weak. I excused myself from my duties and made my way to a practitioner's office and asked for help. The practitioner patiently listened as I explained my newfound happiness in Science and my gratitude for all the healings I had received. I just couldn't understand why I had become so weak and dizzy and useless. Then she kindly reminded me of God's love and tender care for all His children and the importance of showing my gratitude by both words and works. Since that particular day was Wednesday, she recommended that I attend the testimony meeting that evening and share my blessings and healings.
