Church Dedications
Cedar Lake Register The Lowell Tribune December 29 and 30, 1965
Members of First Church of Christ, Scientist, Crown Point, will dedicate their church edifice on January 2 with services at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. The church is at 400 South Main Street.
The First Church of Christ, Scientist, with headquarters in Boston and branches throughout the world is, according to the Historical Sketch from the Church Manual by Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, "designed to be built on the Rock, Christ; even the understanding and demonstration of divine Truth, Life, and Love, healing and saving the world from sin and death" (p. 19).
