Glory Belongs to God Alone

Glory has its source in Spirit. Man in the image and likeness of God reflects the glory of God, for he reflects the nature of God, divine Love. Jesus humbly knew, "The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do."  John 5:19; The praise, the glory, the honor must be credited to God who is always the one cause, divine Principle—the one Mind. The goodness, creativeness, and intelligence manifested by man point to and have their source in divine Principle, Love. All good is inherent in divine Mind.

Christian Science teaches us that man images forth God's infinite goodness, thereby bathing in the glory which is at one with God. It is always divine Mind that produces right action, manifests infinite intelligence, causes reflection; and divine Mind, Love, being the Principle of all, must be recognized as the source of all and the glory be given to God alone. Man does not have a glory of his own. Immortal man's glorious being is the reflection of the one infinite, good Mind.

As we purify our motives and aims and exalt God in all that we do, our outlook and experience begin to expand. The motive that bases all ambition, actions, and desires on the glorification of Soul, Spirit, opens one's consciousness to the infinite goodness and beauty that characterize man as an idea of immortal Mind.
