My gratitude for Christian Science...
My gratitude for Christian Science is very sincere. I attended the Sunday School regularly from the time I was a very young child until I was twenty.
Early one December I began to suffer from rheumatoid arthritis, which developed to such an extent that I could not walk and had to remain in bed. Despite this, I remained cheerful and completely confident of my ultimate healing. Twice I asked for Christian Science treatment. Both times I felt uplifted in thought.
Every day upon awakening, I reminded myself (Ps. 118:24), "This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it." And I did rejoice and was glad. This happy, expectant feeling never once left me.
