Privily laid a snare for me (Ps. 142:3)
The Hebrew word here translated "privily" comes from a root which means "to hide by covering over." Moffatt has, "They have laid a hidden snare for me"; while the Revised Standard Version reads, "They have hidden a trap for me."
My soul Thirsteth after thee, as a thirsty land (Ps. 143:6)
