The words in this issue are related to the Lesson-Sermon in the CHRISTIAN SCIENCE QUARTERLY designated to be read in Christian Science churches on December 25, 1966.

Work (Isa. 62:11)

The Hebrew word peullah can mean either "work," as in the King James Version, or the payment made for work—compensation or recompense. Hence Moffatt has, "Bringing his reward with him, bringing his recompense."
