Don't Be Cataloged!

Today men are often classified as introverted or extroverted. The introvert's thoughts turn inward, and he is categorized as a brooding, sensitive person. The extrovert's thoughts turn outward, and he is regarded as an uninhibited, impulsive, and, many times, restless person. If the individual involved accepts this classification he is bound and governed by the particular beliefs attached to it.

The first chapter of Genesis clearly states, "God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them." Gen. 1:27; It does not mention two types of men. Because man is the image of God, he is wholly spiritual, indissolubly linked with God, his Maker.

It is the nature of this man of God's creating continuously and spontaneously to give forth or express the qualities of God, even as a bird spontaneously pours out its song and as a flower opening effortlessly and naturally to the light gives forth its beauty and perfume unstintingly. The real man's thoughts turn neither morbidly inward nor carelessly outward. He can only express, with constant equanimity, pure Godlike qualities.
