Church Dedications

Dedication services will be held on Sunday at First Church of Christ. Scientist, in Kilburn Road, York. Services have been held there since 1929.

So far as can be established the first Christian Scientist in York was a woman who came from First Church of Christ, Scientist, London, in 1901. She interested a few local people in Christian Science and carried out healing work among them.
