I was led to Christian Science...
I was led to Christian Science by a dear friend twenty-four years ago. I was going through a difficult time when I was put in touch with this religion; but today I look back thankfully on this period, for from that time on, my concept of life has been fundamentally changed. My life has received a higher meaning.
My dear mother had passed on, and my grief and affliction were deep. In addition to this, I had important tasks to perform, It was during the Second World War, and I was active in business life. There were great difficulties to overcome, the result of war conditions, and also problems to solve in regard to employees.
I was then a beginner in the study of Christian Science and was thankful that a practitioner helped me and led me to the understanding that man can never be in want, that he has what he needs, since God gives an abundance of good. Thus I was helped to solve daily problems. Through the study of the Bible and of the textbook of Christian Science, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, I was freed from grief and pain.
