Several years ago I had a distressing abdominal condition. I asked for the help of a practitioner and had relief for a time, only to have a return of the condition with a severe pain which did not yield. After about three weeks the thought came to me that perhaps it would be wise to have a physical diagnosis made. As I started for the telephone to call a physician, the pain became intense. As I walked the floor, a poem by Mrs. Eddy came to my thought. It was "'Feed My Sheep'" and contains these lines (Poems, p. 14):
I will listen for Thy voice,
Lest my footsteps stray.
