I surely have had many blessings from my study of the Bible, together with Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. One healing that stands out in my experience was that of a small growth on my face. I knew that there was no such thing in God's kingdom and that the only growth there actually is, is spiritual.

However, at this time there was a situation in the home that gave me no time to think of myself. Later I went East to stay with my daughter in Connecticut. While there, I was so lovingly welcomed by the members of a branch church, who seemed to sense my need, that I wanted to join this church to keep busy and help in some capacity. This I did. And I had the opportunity to get in a great deal of study.

After I had been East about four months, one morning when the family were all at breakfast, my grandson said, "Oh, Gaunie, that thing on your face has gone!" And truly it had disappeared.
