Realizing the truth contained...

Realizing the truth contained in the line, "I walk with Love along the way" (Christian Science Hymnal, No. 139), was a great help to my son and me while working out a problem. He had a plantar wart, which was making walking quite painful. He knew that in his true selfhood as a child of God he could not experience pain, and after thinking about this awhile he decided to ask for the help of a practitioner in demonstrating this truth in his human experience.

The pain ceased immediately, and within a few days he told me something had come out of his foot. This he realized was the result of the truth being known for him. Looking at the foot, I found the skin completely smooth, and he was able to call the practitioner and express his gratitude. In Science and Health, Mrs. Eddy tells us (p. 463), "A spiritual idea has not a single element of error, and this truth removes properly whatever is offensive."

I should like to relate another healing which occurred while my other son was taking a lifesaving course in swimming. He came home one evening after a session and said that the instructor and the boys thought it best that he not go again until a skin condition they considered contagious had cleared up.
