God's Healing Grace
In prayer we catch glimpses of spiritual reality; but sometimes an imperfection we are striving to destroy still seems real. Grace is the quality of Principle which enables us not only to see that evil is unreal but to prove that it is.
Disease actually is unreal. Christian Science shows that it is one of the unpleasant illusions of the physical senses; there are others that are pleasant. It is because mankind are reluctant to do away with the pleasant illusions that they find it difficult to overcome disease. If one is to gain dominion over disease, one must forsake the thinking in which illusions appear real.
In an old gospel hymn, we find these words:
