My introduction to Christian Science...
My introduction to Christian Science a number of years ago was truly the result of divine guidance in fulfillment of my desire to know of God's creation of man. I had always attended an orthodox church of some denomination, but I had not found what I wanted.
I was troubled at that time with nervous headaches. I was led to purchase a copy of Science and Health. Every chance I got I read this book, if only for a short period. When the healing actually took place I cannot say, but late one night these words came to me very plainly (Ps. 46:10): "Be still, and know that I am God." I sat up in bed, having awakened from a sound sleep, and felt relaxed. This was about twenty-nine years ago. I have not had a headache of any description since.
I have also been healed of a kidney infection and severe coughing spells by knowing that these ills do not reflect the all-knowing God and are not part of His creation.
