Church Dedications

Note: Christian Science churches are dedicated only when free from debt.

Dallas, Texas (Second Church).

Members of Second Church of Christ, Scientist, Dallas, will dedicate their church on April 11 with services at 11 a.m.., 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. The church is located on West Colorado Boulevard at Plymouth Road, overlooking Stevens Park.

The church was organized in May, 1920, by an overflow group from First Church of Christ, Scientist, and services were held in Huber Hall, Beckley and Jefferson, until 1921, when a lot was purchased at Tenth and Storey Streets. A frame structure was built on that property where services were held for a period of years.
