For the past forty years, and more, I have been reading testimonies of healings in the Christian Science periodicals. During that time I have experienced many healings myself.

But first I should like to tell how I became a Christian Scientist. My wife and I and our eight children were operating a truck farm. One day a sister of mine paid us a visit and tried to interest me in Christian Science. Not knowing anything about this Science, I was not impressed. But as she left she asked if I would read a book she was leaving with me. I promised I would.

This book proved to be Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. I opened it and read the chapter on Prayer. As I finished reading this chapter, I knew I had learned how to pray.
