A healing which stands out vividly because of the part gratitude played in it took place a few years ago, when I was awakened one night feeling extreme pain down one arm and side. At first I was alarmed, being on my own with only my young son for company. After declaring the all-presence of God, good, I reached out in thought to Him seeking an angel message to help me; almost immediately to my consciousness came these words from Hymn No. 153 in the Christian Science Hymnal:
Remembrance of Thy mercy
Sure help to Israel brings.
