WORDS OF CURRENT INTEREST
[The words in this issue are related to the Lesson-Sermon in the Christian Science Quarterly designated to be read in Christian Science churches on November 28, 1965.]
Quit you like men (I Cor. 16:13)
This sentence represents one Greek word derived from andrizomai, meaning "to act manly." Goodspeed translates simply, "Act like men"; and Weymouth has, "Show yourselves men." But the Revised Standard Version gives this freer rendering: "Be courageous."
