All the Way

Billy learned in the Christian Science Sunday School that God is Mind. He liked to say the names for God over and over again. God is Mind. God is Soul. God is Spirit. God is Life. God is Truth. God is Love. God is Principle. These names for God are all found in the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. She writes in this book (p. 113): "God is good. Good is Mind."

Billy learned that to think of God as Mind meant that he could always know what God knows. And that to think of God as Spirit was to know that God was always with him in whatever he did and that God was with him wherever he went, all the way.

One day Billy went to visit his grandparents, who lived on an old farm. The farmland hadn't been used for many years, and all the old farm tools and machinery were stored in the cellar of the barn.
