Love-inspired Prayer
When we understandingly reflect divine Love in all our thoughts and acts, we perform the most effective metaphysical work we can do. The inspiration of Love with tender, impelling power heals the sick, binds up the brokenhearted, frees the sinner, and leads the stranger to the truth. The abiding consciousness of Love is prayer without ceasing.
Healing through the complete awareness of the ever-presence and all-power of divine Love is the ultimate method for all healing. But this method is not afar off or only for the future, since divine Love itself is always right at hand—always ever available. "The vital part, the heart and soul of Christian Science, is Love," Mrs. Eddy says on page 113 of Science and Health.
Until we reach that degree of spiritual inspiration which consistently discerns perfect being and so immediately heals through the consciousness of infinite Love alone, it is essential that we include argument, inspired right reasoning, in our prayers, or metaphysical work.
