It is clear from your report of his sermon ... that [a clergyman] has been much misled with regard to the teachings of Christian Science.
No Christian Scientist would deny that matter, pain, evil and even death ... appear to exist in human affairs. However, if one agrees that their negative nature precludes their having been created by God, then your readers will readily discern why Christian Scientists look upon them as lacking ultimate reality, which must and can only be given to the creation of the one creator, God.
