The blessings which have come...
The blessings which have come to me through Christian Science include protection, guidance, moral and spiritual growth, the overcoming of bad habits, a lessening of fear and worry, solutions to financial problems, harmony in human relations, and many physical healings.
As a college student, I sprained my wrist while playing baseball. I called for help from a practitioner, received an instantaneous healing, and did not miss an hour from classwork.
When traveling by ship in wartime, I was healed of seasickness through prayer motivated by a desire to perform my normal duties and to be helpful to others. On that same voyage, I had an instantaneous healing of an injured back by reasoning that the prayerful mental work I had done earlier that day could not be reversed by an accident.
