Is Death Inevitable?
"We must awake to man's infinite, perfect nature"
The old adage "Nothing is certain but death and taxes" is not accepted in Christian Science. Many give lip service to the idea that man, the expression of God, eternal Life, is never born and never dies; but how many of us make this a truism in our every conscious thought? How many of us completely reject the belief that man is a mortal who is subject to hereditary traits, who ages, grows infirm and senile, and dies. Mrs. Eddy declares in Science and Health (p. 244): "Man in Science is neither young nor old. He has neither birth nor death."
