RADIO PROGRAM No. 100 - What Do You Think About Yourself?

INTERVIEWER: In an address sometime ago in Milwaukee, Dr. W. J. Humber said, "If you want to know why a man is so rigid, angry and hostile toward life; find out what he thinks of himself— for that is where the answer lies." [Business News Magazine, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, February, 1963.]

Granted the answer to such an attitude does lie in what one thinks of himself, but just how should we as individuals think of ourselves?

SPEAKER: I expect a great deal differently than most people think of themselves. You see, when we examine the human personality and do so in the light of traits and characteristics, family background, education, and environment, we are apt to draw faulty conclusions about man. Discovering our true identity is a deeply spiritual experience.
