The Simplicity of Christian Science
The very simplicity of Christian Science may be the reason that adults are often so slow to accept and rely on its truth. This also is probably the reason that children have on innumerable occasions healed themselves, and even others, quickly and without effort. They have accepted without any mental reservation whatsoever the glorious truth that God is good and All; therefore all is good.
Each one of us can and should constantly turn to his Father-Mother God, divine Love, and rejoice in His allness and goodness. Then all evil, including sin, sickness, poverty, and fear, will disappear into its native nothingness as naturally and as effortlessly as darkness gives place to light when the sun rises in the morning.
We need to have childlike trust, meekness, and joy, and, last but not least, we need to express love. How much trust, meekness, joy, and love a little child expresses and how naturally and simply he does this!
