The "correct view"
An artist, who was a successful painter of mountains, went up in the High Sierras every summer to complete his orders for the year. Asked why he did this, he replied, "If you want to paint mountains, you must understand them, love them, and live in them, in order to get the correct view."
Mrs. Eddy speaks of the "correct view" in Science and Health. She says (pp. 476, 477): "Jesus beheld in Science the perfect man, who appeared to him where sinning mortal man appears to mortals. In this perfect man the Saviour saw God's own likeness, and this correct view of man healed the sick."
What is this "correct view" that we must gain in order to heal the sick? We find the answer in the first chapter of Genesis. Here we learn that God created man in His image and likeness and that His creation is perfect.
