A High School Student Writes

Studying for Tests

As a student in high school, did you ever have the experience of studying long and hard for an important examination and then finding you did poorly? Perhaps you did not study as much as you should have or keep in mind that God is the source of all intelligence.

To succeed in school, you need to do well on your tests. In the Bible we read Jesus' words (Matt. 6:8), "Your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him." Mrs. Eddy says on page 494 of Science and Health, "Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need."

I demonstrated this fact when I took my midyear test in French. French was my worst subject; but by knowing that God is Mind, I was able to do well on the test. I received the second highest grade in my class; before, I had been getting the lowest.
