TESTIMONY MEETING

So many spoke of Love's exalting power.
Of health regained, of spot and blight removed.
They gladly spoke of Truth's revealing hour.
When God's great plan was seen and understood.

They spoke of good supplied in greater bounty.
Of friendships formed, of peace and joy attained.
Of youth restored with strength and grace and beauty,
The feast of Love by which they were sustained.

While they thus spoke, I sat alone despairing.
Nor dared to hope such good could come to me;
But as the closing hymn was mounting upward,
I too was lifted up, healed, joyous, free.
