Christian Science came to my home many years ago and healed a member of the family of a physical condition that the doctors had not been able to cure. At this time I started to go to Sunday School, which I attended for several years, and I shall never cease to be grateful for the truths learned there.

During the intervening years Science has been my only physician, and my wife and I have had many healings, for which we are grateful. There have also been instances of protection. I have been thrown quite violently from horses at various times, and there were no bad results. While serving for about two years in the Air Force during the Second World War, I found Christian Science a constant help.

About two years ago I was healed of a condition that caused the loss of skin from my whole body and of my nails. A practitioner and a Christian Science nurse were called. A doctor who was also called in to diagnose the difficulty in case it was a reportable one said that I was gravely ill and did not have much of a chance.
