The sharing of spiritual ideas that have brought about a healing is one way to express gratitude for Christian Science. From childhood, this truth has been in my home, and many are the healings I have witnessed and experienced through the years; but I count my real progress as dating from my class instruction in Christian Science. For this and for all the opportunities afforded me in church activities, I am inestimably grateful.

While still a teen-ager, I noticed a large number of warts appearing on my hands. This condition persisted, much to my discomfiture, for many months. One morning, while doing some dishes, I looked down at my hands and declared with great inner conviction, "Nothing can be added to or taken from perfection, and I am actually the perfect child of God."

The very next morning, while again at the dishes, I glanced at my hands and found them entirely free. This healing was thrilling to me as actual proof of the power of a spiritual message direct from God.
