"Strength unto the battle"

"Since God . . . is omnipotent, it is logical to assume that
He supplies His creation with . . . strength"

"It is God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect.... For thou hast girded me with strength unto the battle: thou hast subdued under me those that rose up against me" (Ps. 18:32, 39). The Psalmist did not say, "Give me no battles." He asserted that God had girded him "with strength unto the battle."
