Open House for the, Sunday School Pupils

Open house in a Christian Science Reading Room, planned especially for the Sunday School pupils, is an important influence in the young Christian Scientist's spiritual education. It is helpful for him to know something about the Reading Room's enlightening mission in the community and what it can mean to him.

A librarian of a Reading Room writes of a series of open houses held for the Sunday School pupils:

"Upon arrival the young people were welcomed by the librarian. When they were assembled in the study room, the librarian told them something about the Reading Room: why it was established, what its purpose in the community is, what it has to offer, and how study aids, such as the Concordances and reference works, can be used. She assured them that every earnest seeker after Truth, regardless of human years, is welcome in the Reading Room.
