I know that Christian Science heals, because I have had many proofs of this fact.

As a child I was very frail and could not play normally with other children. I had a heart condition and severe asthma. I was also subject to fainting spells. My parents took me to medical specialists, who did everything they could for me. I was given various treatments and a great deal of medicine, but no one held out any hope that the conditions would be healed.

Then I was about twelve years old, I started going to the Christian Science Sunday School in our town, because I wanted to know more of God. My parents disapproved at first because they were members of a different church and Christian Science was strange to them, but finally they let me go.
