Christian Science has been a...

Christian Science has been a boon to me. When I was first married. I lived in a lonely part of the city in a new and heavily wooded suburb. I had always had a great fear of being left alone, and at this time I was a very new student of this Science. However, through daily studying the ninety-first Psalm and through the consecrated study of the textbook. "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary-Baker Eddy, I eventually gained complete dominion over this fear.

I have found Science a great help in rearing a family, and I am also grateful for the help our children gained through attending a Christian Science Sunday School. Both our daughters attended until they reached the age of twenty, and they are now active members of a branch church. I also found many helpful articles in the Christian Science periodicals relating to children.

One series of articles published in The Christian Science Monitor I found particularly helpful. The ideas expressed in one article I was able to put into practice throughout all the years that our children were growing up so that we were able to work together joyfully with an inner sense of unity. This happy sense of unity has continued even though the children are now married.
