Condemnation (Rom. 8:1)

Souter contends that the Greek katakrima refers more strictly to "punishment following condemnation, penal servitude" than to condemnation as such. Good-speed, however, prefers to retain "condemnation" and suggests, "There is no condemnation any more to those who are in union with Christ Jesus."
