The Peace That Passes Understanding

"The truth ... restores to the human heart the confident assurance that all is well"

"The peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus" (Phil. 4:7). This beautiful promise is the answer to our prayer for that peace of mind which is so much needed in the turmoil of daily human experience. Our hearts cry out for peace, calm, and gentle joy. What greater peace could we experience than the peace of God! And the Bible tells us that this peace shall be felt in our hearts and minds. How grateful we are that God is never unwilling to meet the human need, but rather is ever present to meet it and to satisfy the longing heart!
