"A little child shall lead them" is a Scriptural prophecy of Isaiah (11:6) which was fulfilled in the way our family found Christian Science.

Our young daughter's insistent desire to attend a Sunday School forced my husband and me to search for a way to teach our children about God. My husband professed atheism; and though I had come from a religious environment and had been a student of the Bible, the contradictory theory of a God who brought good and evil turned me completely from religious practice and affiliation. Intellectual curiosity had led me into a superficial study of many religious doctrines, and now I recalled that Christian Science taught that God is Love.

With this thought I approached the wife of a business associate who was a Christian Scientist and proceeded to question her about the teachings of her religion and about its Sunday School. Patiently and lovingly my questions were answered, and I was furnished with a copy of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. I was told that through reading this book, which is the textbook of Christian Science, I would have accurate information as to what our child would be taught in Sunday School.
