There have been in my experience many wonderful proofs of God's healing and protecting power demonstrated through the application of the truths taught in Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy.

My father was healed of a serious stomach disorder after having been given just a few months to live by several physicians. I had been attending an orthodox Sunday School, but I had been wondering why if Jesus did all those wonderful healings, they were not repeated today. My father's healing was therefore quite wonderful to me; so I began to attend a Christian Science Sunday School.

Here I was taught that we really could do and experience the healing work which Christ Jesus did. I had been a rather frail child, and my parents had worried over me quite a bit. This was all changed, and I became very active and well.
