The foundation for the healings related by Christian Scientists is obedience to the truth as set forth in the Bible and by Mrs. Eddy in Science and Health and her other writings. Every testimony shows that each Scientist had been obedient in studying and applying the truth, in following God's direction through unfoldment of the truth, and in supplanting material thoughts with spiritual ideas. Obedience in accepting the truth which had been read, and in putting it into practice quickly, dispelled the error.
