Mind Enthroned

Since the earliest known times, men have sought to enthrone themselves or others as rulers of nations and peoples. These rulers have helped the populace, however, only insofar as they have enthroned God in their own hearts through the Christly qualities of justice, mercy, and wisdom, as they have been inspired, consciously or unconsciously, to let the pure forces of divine Mind, God, possess and direct them.

If the practice of enthroning personal monarchs has largely disappeared from our planet, the need and the desire to enthrone Mind and its qualities continue to develop. One does well to spend his life on this worthy project. And he can feel certain of success at the outset for, according to the revelation of Christian Science, Mind is eternally enthroned in real, individual consciousness, and this can always be proved. No ignorant effort of the carnal mind can circumvent the development of this truth to human thought or maintain miserable human concepts of control in Mind's place once the Science of Mind's enthronement is understood.

Mary Baker Eddy says in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 266), "Perfect and infinite Mind enthroned is heaven." Here is an ideal for men to adopt and nourish until it spreads throughout the earth!
