I feel that it is time for me to...
I feel that it is time for me to express my gratitude in the periodicals for the blessings which have come to me and mine since I began the study of Christian Science. At that time I could see nothing but deepest sorrow and trouble; but I soon found that I had much for which to be grateful, and my experience became happy and harmonious.
Four years ago I had a seizure, losing the control of the right side of my body. I was working in the garden of a house where a Christian Science practitioner lives. Directly I fell, she saw what had happened and came to me and helped me to arise. We walked round the garden declaring the truth as it is taught in Christian Science.
Mrs. Eddy writes (Science and Health, p. 201), "The way to extract error from mortal mind is to pour in truth through flood-tides of love." This is what the practitioner was doing. I asked her for specific treatment. She kindly gave it, and I am grateful to say I suffered no inability or inconvenience whatsoever. I was able to drive the car the same day. In the course of a few days I was completely healed.
