How can I possibly express my gratitude for Christian Science? All I can say from the bottom of my heart is "Thank You, God, for showing me the way."

To me Christian Science is the pearl of great price, It has given me strength and courage to carry on after the passing of a loved one, and it has enabled me to bring up two children and to educate them at a school where Christian Science is loved and lived.

When my elder daughter was seventeen, she went on to a domestic science college. The course consisted of three terms, and the fees were high; but Love opened the way in the first instance, so I went forward with my hand in the Father's.

After the second term, fear flooded my consciousness. I felt the financial strain was going to be too great. I prayed to know the true nature of supply as we are taught it in Christian Science, but still I was fearful. The thought kept coming, "You can't afford it; you will have to cancel her third term." Finally I wrote to the principal of the college saving that I would regretfully have to terminate my daughter's course because I was unable to see it through financially.

But after sending the letter I felt more unhappy than ever. Then I attended a Wednesday evening testimony meeting, and just before it started, a friend slipped a Christian Science leaflet into my hand. I opened it slowly, and my eyes rested on one sentence that seemed to stand out to me, "'Love takes us all the way.'" My heart bounded! "O Father,"' I thought, "how could I ever have doubted? Of course You wouldn't let me start something that was right and not see it through!" I left the meeting feeling full of joy.

On the following Friday I had arranged to visit a relative who lived near the domestic science college; so I called there, and the secretary opened the door. I said that I had written a letter to the principal canceling my daughter's last term at the college and that I had sent it about ten days previously. The secretary remembered the letter and said that the principal had not seen it because she had not yet returned from her holidays! I told the secretary that I had decided that my daughter would finish the course after all.

Three weeks later my bank manager asked me to call at the bank. This I did, and he welcomed me by saying: "You are a very fortunate person. You have had nearly six years of tax rebate refunded to you!" Through an error regarding a covenant scheme, the tax authorities had deducted too much for six years. The result was that I had an unexpected refund of over four hundred pounds!

I felt full of gratitude for God's goodness. The money paid for my daughter's final term, left me a surplus in the bank, and my daughter returned at the end of term with her diploma! God indeed meets all our needs if we will but trust Him.

We have also achieved many physical healings in our family by relying completely on Christian Science. Healings of influenza, colds, migraine, scarlet fever, and of the effects of accidents have been experienced.
