Of Good Report
Good Accomplished Through Literature Distribution Activity
Literature distribution is an important function of our movement. When it is undertaken with the desire to place our authorized literature in the hands of those who are in need and when it is adequately supported by the church membership, it is an effective missionary agent, as the following reports of fruitage indicate.
A society in Missouri writes that a recipient on their mailing list began attending church services regularly and subscribed to The Christian Science Monitor after reading a copy of the Sentinel. Her entire family now accompanies her to the church services.
The literature distribution committee of a church in Toledo received word from the wife of an inmate at the Welfare Farm there that her husband was healed of the liquor and tobacco habits through the reading of Christian Science literature and was released as a free man. She herself expressed gratitude for a greater sense of joy than she had ever known before.
