RADIO PROGRAM No. 412 - Learning Who You Really Are

SPEAKER: Have you ever realized that healing can come to us as we wake up to understand who we really are? Much of the misery in the world today is brought about from what might be called a case of mistaken identity. But an understanding of God and of who and what man is, as the likeness of God, will release us from suffering.

Now learning our own true identity is not a psychological process, but a religious awakening. The reason is that we have to know God in order to really understand ourselves. This awakening has a fundamental impact on our lives and brings healing, as our guest, Mrs. Orion Hadden, of Albany, Georgia, found out.

MRS. HADDEN: At one time, I was very despondent. I'd been dismissed from a hospital. My condition had been diagnosed as cancer of the esophagus. The doctor said I would live only a few months. He told me how sorry he was that they could do no more for me and said, "It's up to you and your God."
